Getting Started

When you start the game, you'll be dropped into a town where you need to talk to NPCs to advance the story. Since this is the Japanese version, menus are entirely in Japanese, so some trial and error might be needed. The core loop is exploring the overworld, entering dungeons, and building your monster team through scouting or breeding. You start with a weak monster and gradually grow your party by recruiting wild monsters after battles or by combining two monsters to create stronger ones.

Battles are turn-based: you choose commands for your monsters from a list, and they fight automatically. Pay attention to monster types and skills, as some moves are more effective against certain enemies. The main objective is to progress through the story, defeat bosses, and collect keys to open new areas. Saving is done at churches, so make it a habit to save often.
