Getting Started

Hunter X Hunter - Ichi O Tsugu Mono is a turn-based strategy game where you control characters from the series. The menus are entirely in Japanese, so a basic familiarity with the series or kanji for common commands like 'attack', 'item', and 'move' will help. Upon starting, you are likely placed into a story or battle setup screen - experiment with the A and B buttons to cycle through options.

The core loop involves positioning your characters on a grid-based battlefield, selecting actions such as attacking or using special abilities, and advancing through story-driven missions. Pay attention to character stats and enemy types, as strategy rather than brute force often wins the day. If you get stuck, trial and error is part of the fun, or look up a translated guide online.
