When you first boot up the game you will see a title screen in Japanese. Press Start to begin and you will be given a DigiEgg. The core loop involves checking your Digimon's status, feeding them when hungry, training them in the battle arena to raise stats, and resting them when tired. Random encounters trigger turn‑based battles where you can attack, use items, or try to run. Keep an eye on the discipline meter - neglecting your partner can lead to a disobedient or even dead Digimon. Since the menus are all in Japanese, it helps to write down or screenshot the key options: the first menu item usually is for feeding, the second for training, and so on. Experiment early with a save state so you can recover if you mess up.
