How to play Lemmings online

Getting Started

When you start a level, you will see the lemmings begin to march out of the entrance. Your main goal is to get a certain percentage of them to the exit. Use the D-pad to scroll around the level and highlight individual lemmings. Press the A button (X key) to select a lemming, then assign a skill using the appropriate button (B is often cancel). The selected lemming will perform that action immediately.

The core loop is about planning a route. You typically start by identifying hazards like gaps, walls, or traps. Assign a climber to scale a wall, a blocker to stop the flow, or a builder to create a bridge. You have a limited number of each skill, so you must decide carefully. Don't let too many lemmings fall into pits or get crushed - each loss counts against your final score.

As a beta, some levels might behave unexpectedly. Try not to use all your skills early; save some for emergencies. The pause function (Start key) lets you assess the situation without the lemmings moving. If you see the lemmings walking into danger, use a blocker or builder to redirect them.
