Getting Started
When you start T-Mek, you are dropped into the cockpit of your hover tank. Use the D-Pad to steer your vehicle around the arena. The primary objective is to destroy all enemy mechs on the map. Press the S (B) button to fire your main weapon, and use the X (Y) button to activate secondary weapons like missiles if you have picked them up.
Keep an eye on your shield meter and ammo indicators. Collect power-up icons scattered across the battlefield to restore health or upgrade your firepower. The game is mission-based: each battle ends when you eliminate a set number of targets or survive a time limit. Stay mobile to avoid enemy fire, and use the environment for cover when possible.
If you have never played before, expect a learning curve with the tank's handling. Turning is slower than first-person shooters on foot, so anticipate your movements. Focus on hitting enemy tanks from the side or rear for more damage. The game does not offer continues in the standard mode, so conserving health is key to lasting longer.

T-Mek FAQ
Who developed T-Mek?
Atari Games developed the original arcade version of T-Mek. The specific developer for the SEGA 32X port is not widely documented, but it is presumed to have been handled internally or by a contractor.
Does T-Mek have a multiplayer or co-op mode?
The arcade version supported two-player linked play, but the SEGA 32X version appears to be a single-player experience only. No split-screen or link cable option is known to exist on this port.
Is T-Mek exclusive to SEGA 32X or did it appear on other systems?
T-Mek first appeared in arcades in 1994, developed by Atari Games. It was then ported to the SEGA 32X for home play, making it one of several arcade conversions on that platform. No other home versions were released.
