Neo Baccarat - Real Casino Series

Neo Baccarat - Real Casino Series (World) is a digital card game released for the NEO-GEO Pocket handheld system, part of SNK's series of casino simulations. It launched around 1999, published by SNK themselves, and was made available worldwide. As the name suggests, this is a straightforward adaptation of baccarat, aimed at bringing the feel of a real casino table to a portable device during the handheld's short but memorable lifespan. The gameplay puts you in the role of a player at a baccarat table, competing against the dealer's hand. You start each round by placing a bet from your virtual chips, then watch as two hands are dealt: one for the player and one for the bank. You can choose to bet on either hand or on a tie. The game follows standard baccarat rules for drawing third cards and announcing the winner. It's a simple loop of betting, watching the outcome, and collecting or losing chips until you decide to quit. There are no frills or minigames - this is pure baccarat simulation. Today, Neo Baccarat serves as a niche but honest piece of the NEO-GEO Pocket library. It's not a deep or flashy title, but it faithfully recreates a classic casino game on a handheld from an era when such simulations were still novel. If you enjoy card games or want to see how SNK experimented beyond fighting games on their portable hardware, this one is worth a quick play. Just don't expect any thrills beyond the cards themselves.
