Getting Started
First, select your team from the menu. Since this is a Japanese-only title, menus are in kanji and kana. Look for team names written in katakana or use trial and error to navigate. The main menu typically offers exhibition, league, and options modes. Press Start to advance through screens and confirm with the A button (X key).
The core loop involves pitching and batting. On the mound, you control pitch type and location with the D-pad before throwing. At the plate, time your swing by pressing the B button (S key) when the ball arrives. Fielding uses the D-pad to move your player toward the ball and the B button to throw to bases.
Pay attention to the scoreboard and inning display (usually at the top of the screen). The game simulates nine innings.
