Cheese 2 is a relatively obscure title for the MSX 2, a home computer popular in Japan and parts of Europe during the late 1980s and early 1990s. It follows an original game simply called 'Cheese,' but details about the developer and publisher are not widely documented. This appears to be a standalone release rather than a hack or mod, though its exact origin remains uncertain - it may have been a commercial effort or a homebrew project, given the MSX 2's active hobbyist scene.

How to play Cheese 2 online

Getting Started

When you first boot up Cheese 2, you will likely be presented with a title screen and maybe a brief menu. Use the Arrow Keys to navigate any options and press X to confirm. The game probably follows the style of a platformer or puzzle game, where you control a character - possibly a mouse or small creature - and move through stages collecting cheese or similar items. Expect simple, colorful graphics typical of early MSX 2 software.

The core loop likely involves progressing from left to right or top to bottom, avoiding obstacles and enemies, and reaching an exit. Since the game is relatively obscure, there may be no instruction manual available online, so rely on trial and error. If menus are in Japanese, look for familiar words like 'スタート' (start) or 'コンティニュー' (continue). Do not expect complex mechanics; Cheese 2 appears to be a straightforward, pick-up-and-play title.

If you get stuck, remember that the emulator allows saving states, so take advantage of that to preserve progress. The game's challenge probably comes from timing jumps or solving simple puzzles. Enjoy the retro experience and the chance to explore a niche MSX 2 release.
