Sunset Riders (Europe)

Getting started: Fire up the game and you'll be asked to choose between Billy, Bob, Steve, or Cormano. They all handle similarly - don't overthink it. Pick whichever cowboy looks coolest. Then you're dropped into a saloon with bandits pouring in from both sides. The core loop is straightforward: move right, shoot everything that moves, collect money bags and power-ups, and survive until the boss fight at the end of each stage.

New players should know that your character auto-aims in the direction you face, but you can also shoot diagonally by pressing up or down while firing. Watch out for enemy bullets - they come fast and your health is limited. Coins and gold bars increase your score, but more importantly, they also give extra lives at certain thresholds. If you see a red TNT barrel, shoot it from a distance to clear the screen.

Don't expect any save points or continues system beyond the arcade standard. It's a quarter-muncher design: you get a few lives and if you lose them all, it's game over. Playing with a friend doubles your firepower and makes the ride much more manageable. The game is short but tough, so practice each stage until you memorise enemy patterns.
