Getting Started
When you start the game, you'll see a title screen with a brief demo. Press Enter to begin. You control Ryu Hayabusa, moving left and right with the D-Pad (Arrow Keys). Press X to jump and S to attack with your sword. You can also use sub-weapons by pressing Z (Y button) if you've collected them.
The main goal is to reach the end of each stage while defeating enemies and avoiding hazards. Collect health refills and power-ups that appear. If you lose all your lives, you can continue from the start of the current stage using the continue option. Timing your jumps and learning enemy patterns is key to surviving.
There is no map or inventory screen; the game is straightforward. Focus on memorizing level layouts and enemy placements. The wall climb mechanic requires you to jump and press against walls to cling and shimmy upward. Practice this early as it's essential for progression.
