Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing is a racing game that was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game, which came out in Europe, is known for its focus on Formula One racing, featuring the famous British driver Nigel Mansell. Developed during the early 90s, it falls under the racing genre, which was gaining traction during this era, with several titles trying to capture the thrilling experience of motorsport. In gameplay, players take on the role of a Formula One driver, navigating through various circuits and competing against other racers. The game incorporates elements typical of racing games from this period, such as time trials and championship modes. Players must master the controls and learn the intricacies of each track to achieve the best lap times and rankings, making strategic decisions about pit stops and tire choices.
