What is Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It,Nl) is a quiz game released for the Nintendo DS, based on the popular television game show. It was made available in Europe, and it allows players to engage in a trivia contest reminiscent of the show's format. This title is notable for being part of the wave of interactive games that sought to replicate the excitement of TV quiz shows on home consoles during the early 2000s. In the game, players are tasked with answering a series of multiple-choice questions across various categories, aiming to reach the coveted million-dollar question. The gameplay is structured around a lifeline system, allowing players to seek help when they are unsure about an answer. With a simple interface, players navigate through questions, making choices using the DS touchscreen and buttons, which adds a tactile element to the experience. This title offers a nostalgic trip for fans of the quiz genre, especially those who enjoyed the TV show. While it may not have the depth of more complex games, it provides an engaging way to test your knowledge and compete against friends or family. As a part of the Nintendo DS library, it represents a period where casual gaming was on the rise, making it a fun, albeit simple, addition for retro gaming enthusiasts today.
