Waluigi in Super Mario 64 DS Final-est Version (Waluigi Voice Added) is a fan-made modification of the classic Nintendo DS title Super Mario 64 DS. Released as a ROM hack, it adds Waluigi as a playable character and integrates voice clips to enhance the experience. The original game, developed by Nintendo, is a platformer that reimagines the iconic Super Mario 64 for a portable audience, and this mod aims to expand on that by introducing a beloved character who has become a cult favorite among fans. In this modified version, players navigate through various levels, collecting Power Stars while using Waluigi's unique abilities. The gameplay closely resembles that of the original Super Mario 64 DS, where players jump, run, and explore vibrant worlds filled with challenges. The addition of Waluigi's voice adds a new layer of charm and humor, making the experience feel fresh for those familiar with the original game. The mechanics largely revolve around platforming, puzzle-solving, and occasional combat against familiar foes. This title is worth trying for those who enjoy fan modifications and want to see how Waluigi fits into the classic platforming formula. While it may not have the polish of official releases, it offers a nostalgic trip for fans of the franchise and showcases the creativity of the retro gaming community. Compared to other ROM hacks, this one stands out by focusing on a single character addition rather than a complete overhaul, making it a niche but enjoyable experience for dedicated players.

Getting started in Waluigi in Super Mario 64 DS Final-est Version is quite similar to the original game. After launching the game, players will find themselves in a hub world where they can choose levels to explore. The goal is to collect Power Stars scattered throughout various stages, which requires navigating platforms, solving puzzles, and defeating enemies along the way. As you progress, you'll encounter familiar gameplay elements from Super Mario 64 DS, such as jumping and wall-kicking to reach higher areas. Waluigi's unique abilities may provide some variations in how you approach certain challenges, though the core mechanics remain rooted in classic platforming. Pay attention to the environment, as some areas may require specific skills or timing to overcome obstacles and reach hidden stars.
