How to Play Exerion 2 Online
Getting Started
When the game loads, you'll see a title screen with Japanese text. Press Start (Enter) to begin. The game is in Japanese but menus are minimal; just navigate with the D-Pad and confirm with the A button (X). The main goal is to pilot your ship through each stage, shooting down enemies and avoiding collisions.
Your ship moves in eight directions. Hold the attack button (S) to fire continuously. Power-up items appear as you defeat certain enemies - collect them to increase your firepower. Your ship has a limited number of lives, and losing all ends the game. There is no continue or save feature, typical for arcade-style games of this era.
If you are new to Exerion 2, start on the easiest difficulty if available. The game gets hectic quickly, so focus on dodging more than shooting. Memorize enemy patterns to survive longer. The MSX1 version runs at a steady pace, but be prepared for the characteristic sprite flickering of early hardware.
