Getting Started
When you start the game, press Enter to insert a coin, then V to start. The screen shows a paddle at the bottom and a ball held by the paddle. Press the A button (X key) to launch the ball upward into the brick field.
Move the paddle left and right with the Arrow Keys to keep the ball in play. Each brick has a color indicating how many hits it needs to be destroyed. Some bricks release power-ups when destroyed - catch them with your paddle to gain temporary advantages like a wider paddle or multiple balls. Avoid letting the ball fall past your paddle, or you lose a life.
If the title screen or menus are in Japanese, don't worry - the main gameplay is purely visual. The core loop is simple: break all bricks to clear a level, then move on to the next. Lose all lives and it's game over, but you can continue by inserting more coins.
