It is a 1992 scrolling shooter developed and published by Konami for the Super Nintendo. The game uses both horizontal-scrolling and vertical-scrolling stages and can switch between the two modes. It is set in the fictional solar system Illis, where an alien empire called Armada of Annihilation invades planets including the Earth-like Corliss. Players take control of the D117B space fighter craft and attempt to recover its lost weaponry. Players choose three different weapon types that increase in number as they progress through the game.
