Sangokushi 3 (Korea) (Unl) is an unlicensed release for the SEGA Master System. It is a Korean version of a game that appears to be related to the Sangokushi series, which is typically inspired by the historical Chinese Three Kingdoms period. This particular version is not an official release from Sega or any known publisher, and is considered an unlicensed title, likely distributed outside of the standard retail channels during the Master System's active years or as a later unauthorized release. The gameplay in Sangokushi 3 (Korea) (Unl) likely involves strategy or tactical elements common to games themed around the Three Kingdoms period, though exact mechanics are not well documented. Given the platform and era, players can expect turn-based or real-time strategy elements, managing characters or units on a map, and possibly engaging in battles or resource management. The Master System had a limited library of strategy titles, so this game fits into a niche category compared to more common platformers and action games on the system. This unlicensed title is worth exploring for collectors or enthusiasts interested in obscure or region-specific releases on the Master System. It offers a glimpse into how unofficial titles attempted to capture popular historical themes on the hardware. Compared to official Sega Master System games, it may lack polish but provides a unique curiosity for those studying the console's diverse library, especially in how the Three Kingdoms theme was adapted for this platform in non-standard releases.
