Getting Started

As soon as the game boots, you are dropped into the first level. Guide the Pink Panther across side-scrolling stages by running and jumping over obstacles, while avoiding the constant harassment of Inspector Clouseau who pops up unexpectedly. The core loop is straightforward: move to the right, collect any items that appear, and reach the end of each stage without losing all your lives.

Your primary means of defense is a jump attack, but you can also run to build speed and clear larger gaps. Keep an eye out for power-ups hidden in crates or floating in the air, as they can give you temporary invincibility or extra points. The beta version may have slightly different enemy placement or difficulty than the final game, so be ready to adapt to unexpected hazards.

Pay attention to your health bar - it depletes quickly if Clouseau catches you or if you touch enemies. Collecting hearts or other health items can restore it. Experiment with the button mapping to find a comfortable grip, especially for the run and jump actions, as timing is crucial for avoiding traps and reaching higher platforms.
