Megaman - The Wily Wars (Europe)

Getting Started When you boot up the game, you are greeted by a menu screen listing Mega Man 1, 2, 3, and an option for Wily Tower (grayed out initially). Pick any of the three main games to start playing. Each game follows the classic formula: choose a stage from the Robot Master select screen, fight through platforms and enemies to reach the boss, defeat them to take their weapon, then use that weapon against later bosses. After all Robot Masters are down, you enter Dr. Wily's fortress for the final gauntlet. The core loop is straightforward platforming and shooting. You can switch between acquired weapons from the pause screen. The remakes retain the original physics and level designs, so expect the same tough jumps and enemy patterns. If you want to unlock Wily Tower, you must finish at least one of the three main games completely and have a saved file. That mode adds new stages and a final boss not seen in the NES originals.
