How to Play McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure (Japan) Online
Section 2 - Getting Started:
In McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure, you control Ronald McDonald as he searches for treasure map pieces across several themed worlds. The core objective is straightforward: progress through each side-scrolling level, avoid or defeat enemies, and collect the map piece at the end. There are four worlds, each with three stages, followed by a bonus stage that rewards extra points.
When you start the game, you are taken directly to a stage select screen. Use the D-Pad and A button to choose a world and begin. The Japanese menus are mostly text-based, but the layout is simple - start is always the first option. Once in a stage, you run with the D-Pad, jump with X, and can attack enemies by pressing S while running. The controls are responsive, typical of Treasure's action games.
After finishing a level, you earn a password that allows you to continue from that point later. The game is not very long, but it offers a gentle challenge. The main trick is learning enemy patterns and jumping accurately over pits. There are no lives, only a health bar - taking hits depletes it, and if it runs out, you restart the level. Extra health can be found in food items scattered around.
