Getting started is straightforward. After the title screen, you will likely see an event selection menu. The game presents a series of Olympic events such as running, jumping, and throwing disciplines. Use the D-Pad to highlight an event and press the A button (X on keyboard) to select it.

Each event has its own control method. In track events like the 100m dash, you need to press the B button (S key) repeatedly to build speed, then press A (X key) at the right moment for a good start. For field events, timing and rhythm are key - often you must press buttons in a specific pattern or hold down a button to set power and angle. The game gives brief instructions on screen before each event.
