Ax Battler - A Legend of Golden Axe (USA, Europe) (v2.4)

Getting started: You control Ax Battler through side-scrolling stages, mixing exploration and combat. The goal is to fight enemies, collect items, and reach the end of each area. Use the D-Pad to move, X to jump, and S to attack with your weapon. Pressing the attack button while running or jumping lets you perform different moves.

Unlike the arcade Golden Axe games, this one is more of an adventure with light RPG elements. You'll find health potions and magic items along the way. The game is relatively short but can be tough due to limited continues. Try to learn enemy patterns and use your magic wisely. There's no save feature, so finish it in one sitting or use the emulator's save states.
