Gremlins 2 - The New Batch (World) is a platform game released for the Game Boy. It was developed by Sunsoft and is based on the movie of the same name. This title came out during the early 90s, a time when many games were being adapted from popular films, particularly in the action and platforming genre. The game allows players to control characters and navigate through various levels inspired by scenes from the movie. In this game, players take on the role of Billy Peltzer as he battles against mischievous gremlins in a series of platforming levels. The gameplay involves jumping, running, and using various items to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies. Players must navigate through different environments while collecting power-ups and avoiding hazards. Each level presents unique challenges, requiring players to use their skills to progress. Gremlins 2 is worth exploring for its nostalgic value, especially for fans of the film. It captures the essence of the movie while providing a straightforward platforming experience typical of its era. While it may not be as complex or polished as some other titles from that period, it still offers a fun diversion and a chance to relive moments from the film, making it a decent addition to any retro gaming collection.
