Select your character from the three available: Linn Kurosawa (human commando), Dutch Schaefer (Predator), or a warrior Alien. The core loop involves moving from left to right across stages, fighting enemies with basic attacks, special moves, and occasional weapon pickups like shotguns, grenades, and energy spears. Each character has a unique rhythm: the human uses guns and grenades, the Predator relies on combos and ranged spear throws, and the Alien uses fast claw swipes and pounce attacks.

You respawn after a short time if you die, but losing all lives sends you back to the character select. A single credit typically offers a few continues. The game supports up to three players in co-op, and teamwork is key - enemies can gang up on isolated players. Practice your dodge roll (forward + down + jump) and watch for boss patterns; many have tells before their heavy attacks.
