You'll serve by pressing the button while aiming with the D-Pad, and during rallies you need to position your player and time your swing.

The core loop is straightforward: win points to take games, win games to take sets, and win two sets to take the match. Pay attention to the ball indicator on the court; it shows where the ball will land, helping you move into position. The AI is competent but predictable once you learn the timing. If you're playing two-player, the second player uses the keyboard controls listed above or can be assigned to the same controller setup depending on the emulator.

Aim for the corners to keep your opponent running, and use the slice shot to slow down rallies or approach the net. The game doesn't have power shots or special moves, so focus on accuracy and court positioning. The difficulty ramps up in tournament mode, but the basic mechanics remain the same throughout.
