Getting Started

Power Monger is a real-time strategy game where you control a general tasked with conquering the map. Begin by selecting a territory to manage - you'll see an overview of your forces, resources, and enemy positions. The first step is to build up your army by recruiting soldiers, training them, and gathering food and gold. Manage these resources carefully, as they feed your troops and fund new units.

The core loop involves expanding your influence: send units to capture enemy villages, fight skirmishes, and reinforce your borders. Pay attention to terrain - hills and forests give defensive bonuses. Since this is the Japanese version, menus are in Japanese, but the interface is mostly icon-driven. The key action buttons (X for confirm, S for cancel) let you cycle through commands. If you struggle with language, experiment with the icons to issue orders like move, attack, and build. Winning requires patience and balancing offense with resource management.
