Robo Aleste
Getting to Know Robo Aleste
Robo Aleste (known in Japan as Dennin Aleste) is a vertically scrolling shooter that Compile developed and released for the Sega CD in 1992. It arrived in North America the following year through Tengen and Sega. This game is a direct follow-up to MUSHA for the Sega Genesis, sharing that title's fast-paced action and distinctive mix of feudal Japanese aesthetics and futuristic mecha. Unlike its predecessor, Robo Aleste takes advantage of the Sega CD's extra storage for redbook audio and animated cutscenes.
