Getting Started:
When you start the game, you'll see a title screen in Japanese. Press Enter to begin. The first level drops you into a forest area. Your character automatically faces right, and you can move with the D-Pad. Press S to slash with your sword, and X to jump. Jumping while attacking performs a downward slash.
As you progress, enemies drop weapon icons. Walk over them to change your weapon. Each weapon behaves differently; for example, the shuriken travels straight and can hit multiple enemies. Your weapon can be powered up by collecting the same weapon multiple times. Watch out for enemy projectiles and spikes, as contact means instant death in many cases.
