Getting Started

When you first start Deadly Skies, you choose a campaign or mission mode tied to the civil war in Zabayral. You take control of a fighter jet from the mercenary group AirForce Delta. The core gameplay involves flying through 2D side-scrolling or top-down stages, shooting enemy planes and ground targets while avoiding return fire. You need to manage your speed and altitude to dodge incoming attacks.

Each mission has primary objectives, usually destroying a certain number of enemies or reaching a target area. Secondary objectives may appear for bonus points. Between missions you can select different aircraft, each with varying speed, armor, and weapon loadouts. Pay attention to your health bar and ammo count - you can pick up power-ups from destroyed enemies. The game is straightforward: fly, shoot, survive. It's a pure arcade port so expect fast-paced action rather than simulation depth.
