Getting Started

Start a new game by pressing Enter to open the menu, then use the D-pad to highlight "New Game" and confirm with X. You control a hero moving through overhead environments, interacting with objects and talking to non-player characters by pressing X near them. The B button swings your sword or uses items, so tapping it repeatedly lets you dispatch enemies efficiently.

Core gameplay involves exploring connected areas, collecting keys and power-ups, and solving simple puzzles such as pushing blocks or finding switches. Your health is displayed at the top of the screen; red potions can restore it. Be sure to check every corner for hidden items. The game saves automatically at certain checkpoints, but you can also save manually from the pause menu (press Enter, then select "Save"). If you get stuck, backtracking often reveals a missed door or item.

Since this is a European release, menus are in English by default, though the cartridge includes French, German, and Spanish text options selectable from the title screen. The adventure is linear but encourages thorough exploration. Don't hesitate to talk to every character - they often provide clues about where to go next.
