Alien Brigade (Europe)
Getting to Know Alien Brigade (Europe)
Alien Brigade hit the Atari 7800 in 1990, developed and published by Atari Corporation. It's a rail shooter, heavily inspired by games like Operation Wolf, that casts you as a soldier fighting alien invaders who take control of fallen comrades. The game arrived late in the console's life, giving shoot-'em-up fans a gritty, arcade-style experience on the platform.
How to Play Alien Brigade (Europe) Online
Getting Started
The game drops you straight into the action with a brief briefing screen. You control a targeting reticle with the D-Pad while holding the B button to fire your weapon at the alien soldiers that appear on screen. The screen scrolls forward automatically, so you need to stay alert and take down enemies before they get too close or shoot back.
Your main goal is to survive each stage by eliminating all alien threats while avoiding their gunfire. Watch for civilians and allies that might wander into your line of fire - shooting them costs you health. Reload your weapon by pressing the X button when you run low on ammo. Complete the level by reaching the end point after clearing enough enemies.
If your health bar empties, you lose a life. The game ends when all lives are gone, but you can continue from where you left off by pressing Start on the continue screen. Practice makes perfect - learn enemy patterns and reload timing to push further into the alien invasion.
