Chase H.Q. is a 1988 arcade racing game from Taito that blends high-speed driving with police pursuit action. Originally released in Japan, this version was developed and published by Taito, one of the era's most prolific arcade manufacturers. It is often considered a spiritual successor to Taito's earlier Full Throttle, and its premise inspired countless other police chase games.

You play as Officer Tony Gibson of the Chase Special Investigation Department, accompanied by partner Raymond Broady. Starting each mission at the police station, your goal is to catch up with a fleeing criminal vehicle and ram it until it stops. The game is viewed from a third-person perspective behind your black Porsche 928, and you must navigate traffic and use a turbo boost to close the gap. Each stage has a tight time limit, and you can earn extra time by slamming into the target car.

Chase H.Q. remains a satisfying arcade experience thanks to its straightforward premise and intense sense of speed.
