Getting Started

When you start the game, you'll see a title screen in Japanese. Since this is a Japanese release, all menus are in Japanese. The core gameplay is baseball simulation: you control a team of cute, big-headed characters. You'll need to pitch, bat, run bases, and field. The main mode is likely an exhibition or season mode, typical of the series.

To navigate menus, use the D-Pad to move between options and press X (A button) to confirm, S (B button) to cancel or go back. In pitching, you select a pitch type and location; in batting, you time your swing. The game uses the Power Pro series' simplified but deep mechanics, with power gauges for pitching and hitting. Pay attention to the batter's and pitcher's stamina and your team's morale.

A new player should start with an exhibition match to get used to the controls and the pace. The Rev A revision might have slightly adjusted balance or bug fixes, but it's fundamentally the same experience as the original. The lack of English means you'll need some trial and error, but the baseball actions are intuitive once you recognize the menus.
