Getting Started When you first boot up Lego Alpha Team, you are greeted with a title screen and a simple menu. Choose a language from the available list, then select a save slot. The game starts with a brief intro explaining the story: Ogel has set up bases around the world and you must send the Alpha Team to stop him. You will be taken to a world map where you can select levels one by one. Each level places your team of two minifigures in a small, enclosed grid. Your goal is to collect all the key items or reach the exit, but the path is blocked by obstacles like crates, ice tiles, and traps. You control one character at a time, switching between them with the A button. Use the D-Pad to move, A to pick up or push objects, and B to cancel or run. The core loop is simple: figure out how to move the blocks and switches to clear a path, then advance to the next puzzle. A few things to keep in mind: some blocks can only be pushed from certain angles, and if you get stuck you can restart the level without penalty. The game tracks your progress with a password system (you'll receive a password after completing each level). Write them down because there are no save files otherwise.
