Start by choosing one of the Diva Starz characters. You then guide her through a virtual mall, visiting different stores like clothing boutiques and accessory shops. The core loop involves earning money (by helping out or completing simple tasks) and spending it on outfits, makeup, and room decorations. There is no combat or platforming; the focus is on shopping, customization, and light social interactions with other characters.

Use the D-Pad to move around the mall floor and the A button to select items or talk to shopkeepers. The B button often cancels or exits a menu. Keep an eye on your character's mood and energy, as these affect how quickly you can play through the day. Each in-game day is structured around a to-do list, and completing it unlocks new stores or items. Save your progress by visiting the in-game save point in your character's bedroom.
